Welcome to the Chorus!

The Marin Symphony Youth Chorus announces auditions for its 2008/09 season. The choir will perform exciting, sophisticated classical choral repertoire with the Marin Symphony. The youth chorus will help ambitious young musicians prepare for college music programs.

Performances will include the annual Holiday Candlelight Concert at the San Raphael Mission Church, as well as performances with the Marin Symphony and the Marin Youth Symphony. Don't miss your chance to sing Ralph Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem with the Marin Symphony Chorus during the upcoming 2008/09 concert season! Our Programs

Singers enrolled in the Marin Symphony Youth Chorus will work towards the achievement of the following goals:

  • Gaining substantial performance experience
  • Developing healthy, breath-based vocal technique
  • Gaining exposure to a broad range of quality choral literature
  • Learning music theory and sight reading skills necessary to becoming a skilled musician
The Youth Chorus is comprised of two choirs:
  • Treble Choir
  • SATB Chamber Choir
